Welcome to the new goldenstatesystems.com

Welcome to the new goldenstatesystems.com. The site is new; the team isn’t.
Same team, sharper site
Golden State Systems has been keeping Southern California offices running for decades. The website got an overhaul — cleaner navigation, real product pages, brochures on every model — but everything behind the website is the same as it was last week. Same people answering the phone. Same techs in the trucks. Same coverage area across Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo counties.
If we sold you a Sharp copier in 2008 and you’re still calling the same number when the toner light comes on — keep doing that. We’re still here.
What’s new at a glance
- A solutions catalog you can actually browse. Head to Solutions and drill into Office, Mailroom, or Shipping. Every product has a detail page with specs, features, and the brochure.
- Brochure downloads on every product page. No more “call us for the spec sheet.” The PDF the manufacturer ships is right there.
- Manufacturer demo videos where they exist — primarily on the FP PostBase line and the EDGE Memjet address printers.
- A direct line to our dispatcher. Need toner, ink, sealing solution, postage, or a standing supply order? Contact us — a person reads it and gets back to you.
- Up-to-date product lineup. Sharp copiers and printers, FP Mailing Solutions postage and mailroom equipment, Formax shredders — three manufacturers we know well and stand behind.
What hasn’t changed
- The phone number: (805) 484-3957. A person picks up.
- Same office hours.
- Same four-county on-site coverage.
- Same techs — the people who installed your equipment are the same people who come back when it needs service.
How to use the site
- Use the Solutions menu to drill into a category. Office is copiers, printers, shredders, IT services. Mailroom is everything between “stack of paper” and “tray of metered mail.” Shipping is parcel software and smart lockers.
- On any category page, use the filter sidebar to narrow by speed, capacity, color vs. B&W, and so on. The filters are built from the same spec data shown on the product pages — they’re honest.
- Every product page has a brochure download and, where available, a manufacturer demo video. Email a brochure to whoever’s signing off on the purchase — that’s what they’re there for.
What’s coming
This blog is going to be where we put the longer pieces — the things that don’t fit on a product page:
- Buyer’s guides for the categories where the lineup is genuinely confusing (the Sharp BP / MX naming code; the ten-model PostBase ladder; the FPi folder-inserter family).
- A USPS rate-change explainer, refreshed each January and July, so you don’t have to read the federal register to figure out what a 1-oz first- class letter costs next month.
- Mailroom workflow stories — the kind of thing that’s hard to learn without walking through someone else’s mailroom.
- Compliance notes — HIPAA / FACTA / CCPA on the shredding side, IMI on the postage side.
The goal isn’t to publish a blog post a week. The goal is that when you search “FP postage meter buying guide” or “do SSDs need a special shredder,” the answer that comes back is ours, and it’s correct.
One ask
If your office still has a piece of equipment we sold you in 2008 and it’s getting tired, give us a call — we’ll come look at it. No charge to look, no obligation to replace. Same number: (805) 484-3957.
Welcome aboard.
