Overview
The FPi 2700 is engineered to maximize mailroom efficiency and enhance document security. Its clamshell design opens for easy access, while configurable feed stations and a 500-envelope hopper let one operator process up to 2,500 finished pieces per hour with very little hand work.
Smart trays handle a wide range of paper textures and sizes — pre-folded materials, invoices, statements, business reply envelopes — and the system collates and aligns documents before knife-folding and inserting up to 8 sheets at a time. Standard double-feed detection on every feeder catches thickness and length errors before they leave the inserter, and an optional OMR / OCR / barcode (1D & 2D) reader package adds full document integrity for sensitive mailings. An optional MaxiFeeder handles thick business reply envelopes, and an optional high-capacity vertical exit stacker keeps long runs uninterrupted.
