Overview
The FPi 4800 is the perfect match for complex mailroom processes. It combines folding, insertion, sealing, and stacking into one automated workflow, processes up to 3,800 finished pieces per hour, and uses a bright 7” full-color glass touchscreen that gets a new job set up in about 30 seconds.
Up to three smart feeders cascade and link to keep running through long jobs without operator intervention, and feeder-swap lets the operator switch tray contents mid-run. Standard double-feed detection guards against missed or duplicated pages, and an optional OMR / OCR / barcode (1D & 2D) reading package adds full document integrity for regulated mailings. The clamshell design opens for fast paper-path access, and an optional high-capacity vertical exit stacker plus optional MaxiFeeder for business reply envelopes round out a true production-grade tabletop system.
