Overview
The OnSite FD 87SSD is engineered for the devices the rest of the shredder line can’t handle. Mobile phones, solid-state drives, mini tablets, USB sticks, SD cards, and optical discs all go in through three dedicated infeeds — and it does the job whisper-quiet, on a standard 120V circuit, so it doesn’t need a dedicated electrical drop or back-room install.
A chain-driven AC geared motor delivers the torque modern media demands, while an all-metal cabinet on heavy-duty casters keeps the FD 87SSD mobile between secure-disposal areas. An LED control panel and accepting media up to 6.5” wide make it a practical fit for IT departments, regulated industries, and any office that retires devices on a regular schedule.
